Renee Kleck

Social Emotional Learning Facilitator

Renee Kleck (she/her/hers) is CWEE’s Social Emotional Learning Facilitator (SELF). In this role, as part of the Wellness Team, Renee is responsible for teaching Social Emotional Learning to participants. Social Emotional Learning compliments our program through learning about self-awareness, self-management, relationship skills, and responsible decision making.

Renee has a background in teaching special education and SEL to elementary and middle-school students. In addition to her role at CWEE, Renee is an adjunct instructor for The Conflict Center, teaching anger and conflict management to young adults. In the community, Renee serves on the Wheat Ridge for Equity committee and the Race and Equity Task Force. Free time for Renee usually involves her little dog, Chester, and hiking, swimming, or walking. She is also known to enjoy a good game of trivia.

Renee attended California State University, Long Beach for a B.A. in Geography, California State University, East Bay for a teaching credential, and she has completed coursework for a master’s in special education.

Renee can be reached at rkleck@CWEE.org
