Carie Flaherty (she, her, hers) is CWEE’s TANF Program Expert. In this role, Carie utilizes her subject matter expertise of over 15 years of experience working with individuals and families receiving Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) and the Colorado Works Program. Carie provides training and ongoing coaching to all TANF Specialists and the Enrollment Coordinator while collaborating closely with the entire CWEE team.
Carie monitors TANF reporting and ensures high quality assurance standards are met and is committed to developing others. Carie brings her passion to supporting low-income individuals and families to reach their goals in support of CWEE’s work and mission.
Prior to joining CWEE, Carie held case management positions within the non-profit sector in Minnesota focusing on supporting low-income parents receiving TANF. Carie is a graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato, where she studied Social Work. Additionally, she is a certified Global Career Development Facilitator.
In their free time, Carie enjoys being outdoors in the Colorado sunshine with her family and dogs.
