Joelle Milholm

Career Development Facilitator

Joelle Milholm (she, her, hers/they, them, theirs) is a Career Development Facilitator at CWEE. In this role, Joelle is responsible for partnering with participants, empowering them to secure long-term employment by learning effective job search strategies and techniques, resume and cover letter writing, interview preparation, and professional communication. Joelle loves helping people realize the strengths and experience they already have, grow their talents and skills, and help them transfer that to finding quality jobs in support of CWEE’s work and mission.

Prior to joining CWEE, Joelle worked in higher education, serving as an English and journalism instructor, writing center tutor, and prison education instructor with schools in the Colorado Community College System. Before that, they worked as a sports reporter at newspapers in Colorado and California. Joelle attended Colorado State University where she studied technical journalism before going on to get a master’s degree in English at California State University, Bakersfield.

In her free time, Joelle enjoys hanging out with their wife, Susan, and their dogs, Jack and Argos, watching sports, reading, going to concerts, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Joelle can be reached at jmilholm@cwee.org.
