Empowerment

Begins Here.

Participant Stories: Asia C.

Before I found CWEE, I lost my job of almost 4 years. I had no income and wanted to go back to school for my GED. My sons inspired me to enroll in CWEE. My family loves to be together, and I wanted to be a role model and a mother they would be proud of.

CWEE’s program gave me all of the tools I needed to succeed and continue to be there for me with anything I need. After reaching my goals and getting my GED at CWEE, I now have a job with Denver Human Services. And I’ve since been promoted! My boys tell me how proud they are of me.

The CWEE staff, my boys, and my girlfriend all inspired me to find a stable life for my family. I’d never been in a school where the staff truly cared about you and your goals. I’m so grateful for everything CWEE has done and continues to do for me.
