Denver Economic Relief & Recovery Council Seeks CWEE Expertise

In response to the effects of COVID-19 in Denver, Mayor Hancock announced the formation of an Economic Relief & Recovery Council (ERRC) comprised of business and community leaders who will advise the city on ways to address relief, recovery, and stabilization across sectors.

Katy Hamilton, CEO, was asked to join the ERRC’s Strategic Partners sub-committee, which is chaired by the CEO of Mile High United Way, Christine Benero and Fran Campbell, President and CEO of the Asian Chamber of Commerce.

The Strategic Partners sub-committee will review recommendations from different business sectors and provide data-informed policy recommendations and strategies using an economic equity lens to ensure alignment with nonprofits, industry associations, and community organizations.
