Empowerment

CWEE Is Seeking Laptop Donations — New & Used

Part of CWEE’s program strategy is to bridge the digital divide for our career seekers and their families by providing a laptop, internet connection and digital literacy training.

We currently have 90 laptops on order, but due to high demand, they won’t arrive until December.

To meet the demand for technology access, CWEE is seeking new and used laptops for our career seekers.

In partnership with PCs for People, CWEE is gratefully collecting laptop donations. To schedule a drop off contact Hannah Hines at hhines@cwee.org.

These individuals have received a laptop from CWEE. Here’s the impact it has had, in their own words:

“I have been searching and moving from home to home to help my family and having the laptop to search for housing, apply for affordable options, and look for a job without the pressures of using up my time at a library or borrowing a laptop has been very helpful.”

“It makes things one hundred times easier when there are already so many difficult things to keep track of.”
