In 2022, CWEE is celebrating 40 years of building confidence, community, and careers and we could not have reached this milestone without the support of our volunteers. April is Volunteer Appreciation Month, and one of the ways we are celebrating is by featuring a Volunteer of the Day each day this week.
Today, we recognize CWEE Ambassador Council Co-Chair, Danielle Berz!
Danielle serves on CWEE’s Ambassador Council. Danielle has worked closely with CWEE’s Development Manager to think strategically about the Ambassador Council. Danielle has also engaged her employer and her network by being a true CWEE Ambassador and gaining support for the CWEE program.

What led you to Volunteer with CWEE?
I wanted to make a difference in my community that results in a permanent change. I recognize the opportunities that have been given to me and I want to try to give others the same options.
What is your favorite part about volunteering with CWEE?
It is so incredibly evident the past and present participants at CWEE feel so strongly and so proud about the change that they have and are making. That level of enthusiasm permeates throughout every staff member, volunteer & donor. It’s a powerful feeling to get to witness.
CWEE’s Ambassador Council is comprised of a network of civic-minded individuals with diverse experience and expertise across industries. This group of individuals provides leadership and guidance to inform CWEE’s outreach, engagement, and fundraising activities, helps expand CWEE’s network of supporters, and identifies ways to engage CWEE alumni in leadership opportunities, among other import duties that help advance CWEE’s mission.
