Welcoming Three New Talented Pros to the CWEE Team
More than 700 career seekers will receive digital literacy training, computer access and certifications, and employment support from CWEE in 2021.
To provide services, CWEE relies on a team of diverse and dedicated professionals that work hard to facilitate a smooth path to long-term employment for our participants.
We are deeply grateful for our team’s commitment, hard work, and energy they bring to advancing CWEE’s mission.
In April, we are delighted to welcome three new professionals:
- Jacqulene Bond, Career Advisor
- Dana Cire, Career Advisor
- Anesha Henningham, Program Specialist
Here is a bit more information about the background and experience of Jacqulene, Dana and Anesha.
Jacqulene Bond
Jacqulene, CWEE’s new Career Advisor, comes to CWEE from California. She most recently served as a Senior Housing Resource Specialist at Families Forward, a nonprofit in Orange County dedicated to supporting families who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless. Jacqulene is a strong advocate for her clients, believes in centering the client’s voice, and is skilled at delivering trauma-informed services.
Another notable professional highlight is Jacqulene’s experience as a Career Advisor at Women Helping Women, a nonprofit focused on supporting vulnerable career seekers to find and maintain employment. Jacqulene is passionate about coaching and advising participants. She believes that regardless of the barriers individuals may face, with the right level of education and support, people can and will succeed.
Dana Cire
As a Career Advisor, Dana is responsible for coaching career seekers to build employment skills. Dana believes employment should do more than pay the bills — it should feed the mind, body, and soul. Dana brings compassion and wisdom in her support of CWEE’s mission along with almost 20 years working in the Workforce Development field.
Prior to CWEE, Dana worked for Arapahoe/Douglas Works!, Jefferson County Workforce Center, and Pikes Peak Workforce Center as a Workforce Specialist. Dana is also an experienced Victim Advocate for violence and sexual assault survivors. She is a US Army Veteran.
Anesha Henningham
In her role as Program Specialist, Anesha is responsible for supporting community participants (those not receiving TANF benefits in either Denver or Arapahoe counties). Anesha also responds to participants’ needs, helping them navigate community resources and supporting their holistic development as they advance on the pathway to employment success. Anesha brings a heart for advocacy, great enthusiasm, and a strong desire to see CWEE’s career seekers succeed.
Prior to joining CWEE, Anesha held positions in the nonprofit and higher education sectors, serving in roles that focused on program and project coordination, training management, research compliance, and high-level administrative support. In addition to her role at CWEE, Anesha is active in the community as a volunteer. She also devotes time to mentoring younger women and teenage girls. Anesha attended Spelman College in Atlanta.
