Empowerment

Begins Here.

Participant Stories: Sevriana

I grew up in Aurora, Colorado and I have six children. Before CWEE, my life was really unstable. I lived in Mexico for years and faced many challenges until I decided to come back to the U.S. My kids inspired me to change my life. I wanted to show them that no matter what you’ve been through in life, you can always accomplish anything you put your mind to.

At CWEE, I changed drastically. I matured in so many ways and my family could see the change. Completing my GED after having 6 kids was a huge accomplishment.

CWEE was the best thing that has happened to me in a long time. The staff is always willing to help. CWEE gave me the chance to truly find myself. And now I work as an Administrative Assistant for CWEE’s partner The Learning Source (which I love!).
